Pharos unveils Expert Touch 8 to bolster Expert product family
The new 8” touchscreen is an elegant wall station with a spacious capacitive touchscreen providing user interaction for Expert Control. The seamless, uninterrupted glass front plate provides a beautiful interface for projects that require user interaction.
The new solution is an elegant wall station with an 8” capacitive touchscreen. Sitting alongside the all-new Expert Touch mobile app which is free to install on any iOS or Android device on the same local network as Expert Control.
The larger screen provides space for up to 30 scenes, or 6 faders, per page. Automatically-generated pages display stylish buttons, faders and colour pickers.
Expert Touch 8 provides controls for scene selection, colour and intensity override, tag controls and a graphical schedule overview.
Ovia
Inceptor U-Lite – the slimline LED luminaire from Ovia
Inceptor U-Lite is a slimline, non-corrosive utility LED luminaire that includes switchable CCT: 4000K, 5000K and 6500K and improved assembly. The gear tray and diffuser assembly can be disconnected and removed by disconnecting the suspension clips and Molex connector for lighter/simple installation of the base. Inceptor U-Lite is offered in dimmable and addressable variants in the form of SwitchDim, Corridor Function and DALI which can cater for every application. The luminaire also offers emergency self-test as standard.
It comes in three different lengths; 1200mm, 1500mm, 1800mm and each length is available in a single lamp and a twin lamp equivalent output. It is suitable for wall, ceiling or suspension mounting with adjustable fixing centres. Pre-fitted Anti Tamper clips allow the installer to screw the retaining clips so that others cannot open the luminaire without the use of a tool.

Central London Office – Suspended Luminaires
MID Lighting recently supplied a major London office development. With a range of fittings including the Spaceline and Aluline 60 linear extruded luminaires, TRK track spots and MIGP globe pendants.
The Spaceline 60 is a 60mm wide extruded aluminium luminaire ideal for office spaces where surface or suspended fittings are specified. The luminaire is available as modular, continuous or as a rectangle and can be supplied with Polar White or Microprismatic diffusers. The Aluline has the same profile but is suitable for recessed ceilings and can be supplied with or without a trim.
This office project required both the Spaceline and Aluline fittings to form a combination of suspended and recessed rectangles. Each rectangle also had two fully lit sides and two sides of 3 circuit DALI track and spots.
MID Lighting also supplied their Titan E6 downlighter and MIEX2 Exit sign.

FREE recycling service for waste lamps. This is a FREE service because we are funded by our Members, the lighting industry, and operate as a not-for-profit WEEE Compliance Scheme. The free recycling service is for Recolight Producer Members, their customers, and end users.
Recolight recycle more than lamps, giving you a complete WEEE service:
• Batteries – not classified as WEEE but are hazardous waste and must be recycled responsibly.
• All electrical waste covered by the WEEE Regulations.
• FREE Luminaire recycling for Recolight Producer Members’ non-household obligated waste.
There are environmental, health and safety regulations with which you must comply. This is to control the risks associated with the storage and movement of hazardous waste. Comprehensive guidance is available on the Recolight website to help you stay compliant.

Knightsbridge’s BT bulkhead just EVOlved to be the best yet
Highly durable and very easy to install, the new BT EVO from Knightsbridge is designed so that the versatile bulkhead fitting can meet the needs of every application, whether it be commercial or industrial, indoor or outdoor.
Users can customise BT EVO by choosing one of three wattages – 9W, 14W or 18W – and selecting a colour temperature between 3000K to 5700K. There is a wide range of options beyond standard, including emergency, microwave sensor, emergency microwave sensor, corridor function, emergency corridor function, daylight sensor and emergency daylight sensor.
The design includes slim bezels and an enhanced diffuser, resulting in a sleeker aesthetic and more uniform illumination. The bezels come in a choice of standard round or eyelid, in matt black, chrome and grey.
